Exclusive Nav
Privacy Policy
Exclusive Products Inc. · Effective date: September 12, 2026
Exclusive Nav is made by Exclusive Products Inc. for its own delivery drivers. It plans multi-stop driving routes and guides you between stops using Apple Maps. This policy explains what the app collects, where it goes, and how to delete it.
The short version
- The app requires signing in with your Exclusive Products Microsoft work account before anything else appears. We never see your password, and the app cannot create accounts.
- Your routes and saved places are stored on your phone; signing out keeps them there and stops anything from being sent to our servers.
- While you're signed in, your routes and saved places are backed up to our server, and while you're actively driving a route, your position is reported to our dispatch team roughly every two minutes.
-
Your company's list of delivery location codes
(
C1234and the address it means) is copied to your phone so codes work with no signal. - You can ask Siri about your day — your next stop, how far along you are, to start or navigate your route. Those answers are worked out on your phone; asking may refresh your route from our server the way opening the app does, and starting a route by voice reports your position exactly as starting it in the app does.
- If you allow notifications, the app tells our server which phone to send them to, so dispatch can let you know when today's route changes. The notification says a route changed and nothing else.
- No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no data sales. Ever.
- You can delete everything our server holds about you from the Account screen, any time.
What we collect and why
Only when you sign in, the app collects:
| Data | Why | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Your name and work email (from your Microsoft sign-in) | To show who's signed in and key your data | Stored on your phone; our server sees only your account ID |
| Your account ID (a random identifier from Microsoft Entra) | Ties your backed-up data to you | Our server |
| A random identifier for this installation of the app | Lets dispatch tell one of your phones from another, and stops a delivery you recorded in a dead zone from being counted twice when the app reconnects | Our server |
| Routes and saved places (names, street addresses, map coordinates) | Backup and sync | Our server |
| Your position while driving a route (~every 2 minutes) | So dispatch can see where drivers are during the workday | Our server; visible only to dispatchers and admins |
| Drive progress (started, stop completed/skipped, ended) | So dispatch can see how the day's route is going | Our server |
| Delivery records when you complete or skip a stop: the photos you take, an optional note, a skip reason, and your position at that moment | Proof of delivery for dispatch | Our server; visible only to dispatchers and admins; deleted automatically after 90 days |
| A notification token for this phone (issued by Apple, only if you allow notifications) | So dispatch can tell you that today's route has changed while you're out on it | Our server; when you sign out we tell our server to forget it, and it expires on its own; deleting your data removes it |
Signed out, the app can't be used and none of this leaves your phone.
Location on your phone. The app uses your location to start routes from where you are and to guide you between stops. If you allow "Always" location access, the only thing it is used for is arrival detection during an active route: the app asks iOS to watch a small circle around your next stop and tell you when you arrive, even while you're navigating in another app. There is no background or continuous tracking: those arrival circles exist only while you're driving a route and are removed the moment it ends, and outside an active route the app isn't collecting location at all. Arrival alerts are optional — without "Always" access everything else works normally.
Notifications. The app asks for permission to send notifications the first time it can use them (to tell you when you arrive at a stop). If you allow it, the app also gives our server a token Apple issues for this phone, so dispatch can send you a short alert — "Route updated" — when it changes the route you are driving. The alert carries no delivery details: no customer, no address, no stop, just the fact that something changed. Opening the app is what fetches the change. Notifications are optional in both directions: turn them off in iOS Settings and everything still works, because the app also checks for changes on its own about every two minutes while you're driving a route, and every few minutes for about an hour after a dispatched route ends. When you sign out, the app tells our server to forget your notification token, and the token expires on its own; deleting your data removes it.
Camera. The camera is used only when you choose to take delivery photos while completing a stop. You can take more than one and remove any of them before you complete the stop — a photo you remove is never uploaded. The app never reads your photo library. Anything that leaves the app with a photo is something you start: while looking at a delivery photo you can open the system share sheet and choose Save Image to add it to your library, or send a copy elsewhere — AirDrop, Messages, or another app. A copy you save or send that way is yours to manage; it is outside the app and is not covered by the 90-day deletion below. The app never shares a photo on its own.
Delivery locations your company has named. Some
customer delivery points have an internal code — like
C1234 — instead of an address people type. The
app keeps a copy of your company's list of those codes and their
addresses on your phone, so you can find a dock by its code with
no signal. It is your company's reference data, not information
about you, and it is removed from the phone when you sign out or
delete your data.
Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight search. You can ask Siri to start your route, tell you your next stop, say how your day is going, or open your maps app — and, if your account is allowed to see the dispatch board, to say where another driver is headed. Those answers are put together on your phone from the same route information the app is already showing you, and the app keeps no recording of what you said. Asking may refresh that information from our server, exactly the way opening the app does — nothing is collected about the question itself. Siri is Apple's, and what Siri does with your request is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
If your account is allowed to see the dispatch board, your colleagues' names are also given to your phone's Shortcuts app so you can ask about a driver by name. The names stay on your phone and are removed when you sign out.
Starting a route by voice starts the same position reporting as starting it in the app: while you drive, your position goes to dispatch about every two minutes, as described above.
Siri will not complete or skip a stop for you. Those need the app, because a delivery needs a photo and a skip needs a reason.
So that Siri and your phone's own search can find a stop by name
— "the Acme dock", or a location code like
C1234 — the app puts today's routes
and their stops into your phone's Spotlight index. The
index stays on your device — we never receive it. How your
phone's own search and Siri use it is governed by your Apple
settings. It holds delivery point names and addresses, so it is
removed from the phone when you sign out, and
when you delete your data.
Apple Maps. Searching for addresses and calculating routes sends the relevant addresses/coordinates to Apple's Maps services, governed by Apple's privacy policy. If you choose Navigate and pick Apple Maps or Google Maps, your remaining stops are handed to that app and their policies apply from there.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no third-party data sharing of any kind. The app talks only to our own server, Microsoft's sign-in service, and Apple's Maps services.
- We never use your data for tracking across apps or websites.
- Sign-in tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are excluded from iCloud backup. They leave the phone only for two purposes: signing in and staying signed in with Microsoft's identity service (the sign-in and refresh exchanges happen directly with Microsoft Entra), and proving who you are to our server.
Retention
- Position reports are kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Delivery records (photos, notes, and skip reasons) are kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically. A completed stop can carry several photos; the 90 days runs from when each one reaches us. Photos you remove before completing the stop are never sent, so there is nothing to keep.
- Signatures. The app stopped asking for signatures on August 28, 2026 and no longer collects them. Signatures recorded before that date are still shown with the delivery they belong to, and are deleted on the same 90-day clock as the rest of that record — so they are gone by November 26, 2026 at the latest.
- Routes, saved places, dispatch records, and your company's delivery location codes are kept while your account is active, so your backup works.
- Your phone's notification token is kept for as long as it is the token our server has for you: signing out asks the server to forget it, signing in on a phone claims that phone's token, and Apple retires tokens that stop working.
Deleting your data
In the app: Account → Delete Backed-Up Data. This immediately and permanently deletes everything our server holds about you — routes, saved places, location history, delivery records, dispatch records, and your phones' notification tokens — and removes the synced copies from your phone, including your company's copy of the delivery location codes and the routes and stops your phone's own search had indexed. Your Microsoft work account itself is managed by Exclusive Products IT (the app cannot create or delete it); when you leave the company, IT deactivates it.
You can also email us (below) to request deletion.
